Samantha has had the pleasure of working closely with Gibney Company as their Digital Media Associate, which has led her to film and edit promotional videos for acclaimed choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Sidra Bell, Yue Yin, Vim Vigor, duo Spenser Theberg and Jermaine Spivey, and duo David Raymond and Tiffany Tregarthen.

As a freelance video artist, Samantha has been the filmmaker in residence at Ballet Hispanico, executed live videography performance work on stage at New York Live Arts for Cullen + Them, among collaborating with friends and smaller companies.

Her creative reach extends beyond stages and studios to public spaces – Samantha’s video work has graced LED screens in the NYC MTA and Lincoln Center. Driven by a passion for documenting artistic processes, behind-the-scenes, and live performances, she eagerly anticipates expanding her videography portfolio.

Culminating her academic journey with a Master of Arts in Interactive Media Art from NYU Tisch Shanghai, Samantha discovered an affinity for digital art, experiential design, and interactive technology and performance. Proficient in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects and Touch Designer, she has also dabbled in Cinema4D, P5js, Mad Mapper, Unity, and Ableton Live, showcasing her versatility and eagerness to keep up with the ever-evolving landscape of video and interactive media.
